Bella walked into the dressage arena on foot, Ty's reins in hand. She tightened her girth before mounting. She settled into her all purpose saddle easily and gathered her reins. She got Ty into a trot, and started to post. They trotted at a good pace for about twenty minutes, which allowed her to get used to the way Ty acted. She clicked her tongue and kicked the mare gently until she finally cantered. Every leg muscle Bella had worked hard to keep Ty going. Finally, they trotted, the walked. She didn't want to do too much the first time she rode Ty, so she dismounted and walked back to the barn
