KRISS walked through the entrance of the big white barn. She came to greet the new school horse that her aunt had bought. She had heard that this new horse was very beautiful. Kriss walked down the isles looking for the school horse that she had not seen before. She stopped and walked to an unfimiliar mare. She looked at the golden plate on the stall door. "First Try," she read out loud. She looked through the bars to get a better look at the beautiful chestnut. She smiled as First Try aproached her in curiosity. Kriss held out her hand for the filly to sniff. First Try sniffed the hand all over. The filly soon lost intrest and turned around to eat some of her hay in the feed bunk.

Bella walked into the barn, and when she saw Kriss, she almost turned around and went back to her dorm. She walked over to Ty's stall and smiled nervously to the girl. After opening the stall, a horse treat was held out as a white halter was slipped over the mare's head before clipping a matching lead to the ring on the bottom. She kept the lead in one hand as she started to curry the chestnut coat. Each circle she made loosened dirt from the pasture. She ran a hard brush over Ty's body and looked out of the stall. Hi. She said nervously. Calm down. She told herself. When she did, she she started to clean out Ty's hooves. Then she brushed Ty's face off, then her mane. Finally, she slipped the lead over Ty's shoulder, which left it hanging over the mare's neck, and took a bottle of detangler to the matted chestnut tail. She took a brush like she would use on her hair and started to gently remove the knots...

KRISS smiled at the girl as she started grooming First Try. She must be Ty's rider... she thought. "Hi, I'm Kriss." she said shyly. She was the first person that she had a chance to talk to in a while. "You new here?" she asked as she watched how she brushed the tangles out one by one.

Bella raised her head. Um, I'm uh-Bella and yeah, I'm new. She kept herself under control as she finished the tail. Good girl. She mumured as she walked back up to Ty's head. The mare ate the peppermint that was offered to her as Bella grabbed a bag of wraps from outside the stall. She used a clear liquid out of a purple bottle and rubbed it on all four legs, then wrapped them with white polo wraps. She stood up and started to braid Ty's forelock, tying it with a white bow. She turned around to look at Kriss, rubbing Ty's neck with her free hand.

KRISS nodded slightly as she watched her braid the mares forelock. Bella, as Kriss could see, was a very shy girl. Kriss was pretty shy herself. She smiled. "I remeber my first day here..." she said as looked at her hands. Why did I have to say that? Ohhh, that was soo embarrasing...[/i] she thought.

It's not really my "first" day, but I am really new here. Bella answered as she fiddled with the mare's nose. Ty snorted, getting horse snot all over the place. Ewww... She laughed and used a cloth to wipe Ty's nose off. That was disgusting. She told Ty. Remembering that Kriss was there, she blushed.

KRISS smiled and laughed slightly as the mare sneezed all over the place."Oh," she said as she fiddled around with her black hair. "So, what dorm do you stay in?" Kriss would have to leave in a bit to feed the school horses. Her aunt had hired her to care for the school horses since they didn't have a stable hand.

Dorm 1. Bella answered, messing with Ty's chestnut mane. She added a few braids, tied with the same ribbon that was on Ty's forelock. Yourself? She walked out of the stall and into the feed room. After carefully measuring out Ty's grain and supplements, she walked back into the stall and dumped it into Ty's feed bucket. She grabbed a few flakes of hay and added those to the haynet hanging in the corner, then turned to look at Kriss.

KRISS nodded as she stared out the stall window at the other side of the stall. "Cool, I stay in Dorm one too." she said as she looked at Bella as she walked into the stall again. Kriss smiled slightly and then watched Ty's movements. First Try was a very gracefull filly at her age, she was very beautiful too.

So basically we're room mates. Bella thought aloud as she walked out of the stall. She grabbed a lounge line and clipped to the white halter. I'm sorry to kinda leave soon, but I was planning on joining up with her.... She said, looking at Kriss with hazel eyes. She took one step out of the stall, and Ty followed.

"Yeah, basically." she said as she smiled. "Yeah, I have to feed the other horses. So I'll see you later?" she asked as she started to walk away torwards Witch's stall.

Yeah. I guess I will Bella smiled and walked out of the stall and towards the round pen, Ty walking beside her. She reached over and put a hand on Ty's neck as the exited the barn.
